Daniel
E. Johnson, President & Chief Executive OfficerDan is the founder of the company and focuses on the customer experience at SearchAmerica. He engages key clients, maintains relationships with major business partners and vendors and provides ongoing direction to product delivery. His background includes healthcare transaction services and telecommunications industry efforts. He is the founder of MedServe Link, Inc., and co-founder of a voice and data communications consulting company, American Business Communication, Inc. Dan earned a B.A. degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota.
Thomas
C. Velin,
Executive Vice President - Chief
Financial Officer and Chief Operating OfficerTom joined SearchAmerica in July of 2007 and is responsible for leading the financial strategy of the company. Mr. Velin brings with him over twenty-three years of experience in M&A, international business, new business development and capital raising. Mr. Velin came to us from SPS Commerce, a Software as a Service (“SaaS”) company, where he was EVP & CFO and was responsible for providing the leadership and strategic direction for the financial, M&A, and legal functions within the organization. Prior to SPS Commerce, Mr. Velin held the position of CFO at Advanced Duplication Services. Prior to Advanced Duplication Services, Mr. Velin served as CFO at August Technology Corporation where he successfully completed a $40 million IPO; along with earlier rounds of fund raising, while the company grew its top line at triple digit rates. Mr. Velin also served as CFO w/ Lloyd's Barbecue, and in various senior financial roles with Telex Communications, County Seat and Ernst & Young. Mr. Velin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Tom holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota.
Steven
G. Johnson, Chief Technology Officer & Vice President, Product Development
Steve is responsible for the company’s technology, development of products
and data center operations. He has nearly 20 years of management experience
with leading software companies in the healthcare and insurance industries
addressing software development and system architecture including advancing
Internet-based applications. He held key positions at Decision Research
Corporation and Serving Software, Inc. Steve holds a B.S. degree in physics
and a M.A. degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota.
Bruce
A. Nelson, Vice President, Sales & Marketing
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bruce is responsible for Sales,
Marketing and Business Development. He was a former 11-year member of Zimmerman and Associates. He was the
Executive Vice President, as well as a popular lecturer and presented to a
majority of state HFMA and the national HFMA conferences. Bruce has also
designed marketing plans for LINC, Finova and Zimmerman. He has worked with
advertising agencies as well as direct mail and web based marketing
strategies. An experienced seminar leader, Bruce has a national reputation
in the revenue cycle arena. He has established CFO contacts in virtually every
state in the US. Bruce holds a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin
Whitewater.
Steven
J. Pukal, Vice President, Client Services
Steve is committed to delivery and executing on customer expectations. He
and his team of support professionals deliver ongoing implementation,
education and technical support. His valuable past experiences involve
service and technology roles. He was VP of Operations at MedServe Link Inc.,
and held a variety of management roles at HBO & Company (now McKesson) and
Serving Software Inc., including healthcare scheduling and support services
delivery. Steve earned a B.S. degree in political science with minors in
computer science and economics, from Northern State University.
Jordan
S. Levitt, Vice President, Strategic Relationships
Jordan is the Vice President of Strategic Relationships for SearchAmerica where he consultatively works with
technology partners to develop and bring to market new
solutions. He also works with hospitals where he focuses on the convergence of best
practice business strategies and technology.
Prior to
joining SearchAmerica, Jordan spent several years as a project
manager implementing technology solutions in payer and provider spaces for
consultancies including Zimmerman and CGEY. Jordan holds a BS degree in
Health Care Administration, with a concentration in Organizational
Management from the SUNY Buffalo, and received an honorary Health Care
Administration Certificate from the State of New York.
Tina
M. Eller, Senior Director of Revenue Cycle
Services
Tina is the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle
Services at SearchAmerica, and has worked in
healthcare, both physician and provider spaces, for 15 years. Ms. Eller’s
expertise is in helping organizations drive ROI from state of the art
Revenue Cycle solutions. She is a frequent speaker at healthcare forums as
well as contributor to a number of healthcare publications on the topics of
Revenue Cycle best practice, challenges in the industry, etc. Tina served on
the Colorado Hospital Association’s Charity Care/Financial Assistance
Steering Committee that was responsible for drafting the Financial
Assistance/Charity Care Guidelines for Colorado Hospitals.
