Dan Johnson, President, SearchAmerica
As the founder and President, Dan Johnson brings proven
leadership and a focus on customer care to SearchAmerica. He is
responsible for the overall management of the company, as well as forming
long-term relationships with SearchAmerica's clients and business
partners and providing ongoing direction to product delivery. Mr. Johnson's
vision is to provide every hospital with accurate
patient information and industry best practices to dramatically improve the
revenue cycles through immediate, accurate and accessible financial clearing
of patients. He has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare
transaction services and telecommunications industries. Prior to SearchAmerica,
Mr. Johnson founded MedServe Link Incorporated, and was co-founder of a
telecommunications management company, American Business Communication, Inc.
He earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of
Minnesota. In 2009, Mr. Johnson received the
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of
the Year®
Award in the Upper Midwest region, and
led SearchAmerica to receive the
2009 Minnesota Tekne
Award by the Minnesota High Tech Association.

Tom Velin is responsible for leading SearchAmerica's financial strategy and corporate operations. Mr.Velin brings more then 25 years of experience in financial management, operation, M &A, International Business, new business development and capital raising. Before Joining SearchAmerica, he served as EVP and CFO at SPS Commerce, a software-as-a-Service(SaaS) company, where he was responsible for providing the leadership and strategic direction for its financial and legal functions. Mr.Velin has also held executive positions at Advanced Duplication Services, August Technology Corporation, and Lloyd's Barbeque. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a B.S.degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. In 2008, Mr.Velin was honored for his leadership by being named a CFO of the Year by the Minneapolis/St.Paul Business Journal.
Steve Johnson,
Chief
Technology Officer & Vice President, Product DevelopmentSteve Johnson is responsible for the company’s technology strategy including the development of financial clearing solutions and the company’s data center operations. With nearly 20 years of management experience at leading healthcare and insurance software companies, Mr. Johnson brings leadership and expertise in software development and system architecture including advanced Internet-based applications. Prior to joining SearchAmerica, he held several management positions at Decision Research Corporation and Serving Software, Inc. Mr. Johnson holds a B.S. degree in Physics and a M.A. degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and he is a member of the HFMA Minnesota chapter.
Brendan
Deakin, Vice President, Sales
As Vice President of Sales for SearchAmerica, Brendan Deakin
is responsible for planning and implementing SearchAmerica’s national
sales strategy. With more than 16 years
of enterprise software sales management experience, Mr. Deakin has managed
several high performing sales teams to consistently drive
company growth and business revenues by continually improving his personal
and team sales performance. Most recently, Mr. Deakin held a variety
of strategic sales and sales management positions at Experian PLC, SearchAmerica’s
parent company. During his tenure at Experian, Mr. Deakin delivered against
critical revenue goals within the global financial services industry, and
won several sales performance awards. Prior to joining Experian, Mr. Deakin
held positions of increased responsibility at major information solutions
providers like Equifax, Proxicom (now Dimension Data), and PSINet. Mr.
Deakin earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from Western Connecticut
State University.
Steve
Pukal, Vice President, Client Services
Steve Pukal is committed to providing high quality service and exceeding
customer expectations. His leadership drives SearchAmerica’s team of
service professionals to deliver excellence through implementation,
technical service, support and customer care. Mr. Pukal has more than 20
years of management experience in service and technology environments.
Prior to his role at SearchAmerica, he was the Vice President
at
Midwest Services for Pointshare Corp., a provider of intranet solutions for
healthcare organizations. He has also served as Vice President of Operations
at MedServe Link Incorporated where he was responsible for its product
development and client services teams. Previously, Mr. Pukal held a variety
of management positions at HBO & Company (now McKesson Corporation) and
Serving Software Inc., including integration services and enterprise wide
healthcare scheduling service and support delivery. He earned a B.S. degree
in Political Science with minors in Computer Science and Economics from
Northern State University.
Tina
Eller, Vice President, Revenue Cycle Services & Client Operations
Tina Eller is the Vice
President of Revenue Cycle Services at SearchAmerica, and has
worked in the healthcare industry -- physician and provider roles -- for
more than 15 years, including revenue cycle management positions at several
large healthcare networks. Her expertise is in helping organizations drive
ROI from state of the art revenue cycle solutions through workflow redesign,
industry benchmarking and leveraging operational best practices. Ms.
Eller is a frequent speaker at healthcare forums as well as contributor to
numerous national and regional healthcare publications on revenue cycle best
practices, overcoming industry challenges, and measuring ROI. She served on
the Colorado Hospital Association’s Charity Care/
Financial Assistance Steering Committee that was responsible for
drafting the Financial Assistance/Charity Care Guidelines for Colorado
Hospitals.
Jordan
Levitt, Vice President, Business Development
Jordan Levitt is the Vice President of Business Development at SearchAmerica.
In this role, he is responsible for managing relationships that SearchAmerica
develops and maintains to bring to market new solutions. Mr. Levitt also
provides leadership to many of SearchAmerica’s customer relationships
through his expertise of best practice business strategies and technology.
Prior to joining SearchAmerica, he spent several years as a project
manager, implementing technology solutions in both payer and provider spaces
for consultancies including Zimmerman and Associates and Cap Gemini Ernst &
Young. Mr. Levitt holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration,
with a concentration in Organizational Management from SUNY Buffalo, and
received an honorary Health Care Administration Certificate from the State
of New York.
